A vast and alien intellect has risen from the void of intergalactic space. The single monstrous entity which is the Tyranid race has found a new, rich feeding ground: the human galaxy. Driven by the single consciousness of the hive mind, the Tyranids consume every living thing in their path. The bio-engineered warriors of the hive mind overrun world after world, each generation becoming better adapted to hunting their new prey. The galaxy is doomed to become a barren lifeless wasteland if Tyranids cannot be stopped.

This patch combines idsoftwares Quake with the fascinating world of Warhammer 40k, both create interest which are shared by the thousands of people all over the planet. The models, skins and code in this patch may be used (unless used for commercial gain) for inclusion in your own Quake/Warhammer 40k projects, but please give me credit and a link to this site for my many hours of hard work.
